Doctor Aliaa Al Al-Mahdi was born in the Iraqi religious city of Najaf.
In the beginning of the 90's she and her family were forced to leave the country, as her father was a political activist protesting against the tyrant Sadam Hussain and he received a death penalty. After a long journey of escaping from country to country they finally settled in Sweden. It was not easy for Dr. Aliaa at the beginning, being a Muslim woman with hijab, in a society that had very few women in hijab at that time. Dr. Aliaa went on to work, seeking to change stereotypical images against Muslim women in her new society.
Dr. Aliaa went on to study medicine in the medical school of the university of Linköping and specialized in ophthalmology and other specializations.

In the year 2011 she came to know that Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him as his family) has sent a messenger to the world calling people to Imam Mahdi. She researched a lot in this matter until she became certain that this call is true and is from God. From that moment on she embarked on an incredible spiritual journey that changed her life forever. She believes firmly that Imam Ahmad Al-Hassan (from him is peace) and that Aba Al-Sadiq (pbuh) are from God and their goal is to save humanity and guide it to God's true religion, the religion of light, peace and love. Dr. Aliaa is one of the first to support the second Mahdi Aba Al-Sadiq (pbuh). She has helped propagating the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light and served on the satellite channel presenting her own show on the Covid-19 Pandemic and has participated in many other shows such as " Medicine of the Mahdis" and other medical, political and social shows.
