For the Adamic covenant the sign was the tree:
“And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 2: 16-17
The sign of the second covenant was the rainbow:
“I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.” Genesis 9: 13
The sign of the third covenant was circumcision:
“You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you.” Genesis 17: 11
The sign of the fourth covenant was the Sabbath:
“The Lord said to Moses, ‘Say to the Israelites, “You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come.” Exodus 31: 12-13
The sign of the fifth covenant was Holy communion:
“In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” Luke 22: 20
The sign of the sixth covenant is the Yamani Stone.
Imam Al-Baqir (peace be upon him) said: “The stone is like the covenant and receiving it is like the pledge of allegiance.”
The sign of the seventh covenant is the six pointed star.
