Salam
I would like to share here a simple and efficient meditation.
A quick way to come back to Presence, to reconnect with the core of your Being.
Just try it for 7 minutes.
Impressive results (lightness, energized, feeling of presence, spaciousness, clear mind...) happen quickly with regularity and discipline.

You can read it and do it in the same time. at the beginning at least.

Sit comfortably
(Close your eyes)
Take three deep breaths. With each exhalation being like a release of all tensions and heaviness in the body and the mind.

Feel now how is your body . Feel the sensations of your body. And travel from one part of it to another like a curious exploration. take your time.
Your task now is just to notice what is there....the cold, the warmth, the tingling, the vibration, the tensions, the movement of the breath, the contact of your body with the ground or chair...etc.. FEEL anything that is happening right now in your body.

Feel and only WITNESS. no comment is necessary. You do not need to change, modify, get rid of any sensation neither.
Feel and notice also the like and dislike of your mind. do not engage.
Take now three deep breaths. With each inhalation being like a filling of your body with light, and good energy.

Again. Feel your body, stay with the sensations. With this same neutral, compassionate equanimity.
Remain as the WITNESS of what ever is happening in your mind and body.
Do not engage with the thoughts that comment on it. Do not engage with the stories.
no past. no futur. just NOW.
Simply you keep quiet. be here. let things happen. let Life BE... inside of you.

relax
smile. it is free.
how are you now?

just FEEL. just BE WITH what ever IS NOW.
BE in this place inside of you where WITNESSING is happening naturally and effortlessly...
...

You may now feel and little bit more light and feel more space and make, god willing, the precious experience of being the WITNESS of the functioning of your body and your mind
rather than being your body-mind. if it is not clear now it will come soon with a little practice . keep it up.


Being one with your attention with this inner space of the WITNESS brings peace, silence and clarity inside of you.
The more you practice the more it becomes a CLEAR experience. tangible. and long lasting


And with some practice you may joyfully recognize your experience being similar of that which Lao Tse a.s describes here in the tao te ching>

Empty everything out; hold fast to your stillness.
Even though all things are stirring together,
watch for the movement of return.
The ten thousand things flourish and then
each returns to the root from which it came.
Returning to the root is stillness.
Through stillness each fulfils its destiny.
That which has fulfilled its destiny
becomes part of the Always-so.
To be aware of the Always-so is to awaken.
Those who innovate while in ignorance of the Always-so
move toward disaster.
Those who act with awareness of the Always-so
embrace all, are not possessed by particular desire,
and move toward the Tao.
Those who are at one with the Tao abide forever.
Even after their bodies waste away, they are safe and whole.
